Our Roots

We began our business in 2017 opening J. Caroline's Restaurant with one goal in mind: to provide great food always, with the right balance of fresh ingredients, local goods, and love.

J.Caroline’s offered progressive comfort food with a northern twist. Our cozy, contemporary diner focused on fresh ingredients with a focus on local flare. Dishes were prepared daily to bring great food to our guests. Always.

In October 2019, we opened the doors to our new restaurant East Street Pizza Company. Located in one Sault Ste. Marie's iconic heritage buildings at 76 East Street, we are the Sault's only authentic sourdough thin crust pizza shop. We use only the freshest ingredients and premium recipes to create a true gourmet pizza experience.

Internationally experienced chef and owner Jane McGoldrick is committed to delivering soul-pleasing food that is true to her Northern Ontario roots.
